Women Forum Club Handball 2014 eV was founded in Budapest on 4th<\/sup> May 2014.<\/p>\n

Women FCH in a first step decided to support the key message of the partner organization Men\u2019s Forum Club Handball:<\/p>\n

Here is the Men’s FCH key message from 2006:<\/p>\n

Clubs, National Federations, European Handball Federation (EHF) and International Handball Federation (IHF) are competitors in the same market<\/u><\/strong>.<\/u> All organizations are organizing handball matches in Europe. All organizations have their natural financial interests. All organizations are using the same players, dates, arenas, spectators, sponsors, tv-stations, agencys and so on.<\/p>\n

  1. It is the target of FCH to achieve a balance of interests<\/strong> between all mentioned parties.<\/li>\n
  2. It is a target of FCH to reduce the number of big Championships<\/strong> from currently 5 in 4 years (2 World Championships (WCH), 2 European Championships (ECH) and 1 Olympic Games (OG)) to three (but maximum 4) in 4 years.<\/li>\n
  3. The big Championships shall be played between the end and the start of European Club season<\/strong> like in all other team sports. For the moment ECHs and WCHs take place in January.<\/li>\n
  4. The Olympic Qualification tournaments shall be abolished.<\/strong> The Qualification\u00a0could be organized via WCHs and ECHs as it used to be in the past.<\/li>\n
  5. The number of National Team days shall be reduced<\/strong>. In Olympic years (ie 2008) handball players spent 120 days and more with the National team.<\/li>\n
  6. Every day a player spends with the National Team shall be compensated<\/strong> by the National Federation, EHF or IHF.<\/li>\n
  7. The player salary shall be ensured in favor of the club<\/strong> \u2013 whenever\u00a0a player\u00a0is performing for his National Team or a selction.<\/li>\n
  8. The relation between clubs (FCH) and federations (EHF, IHF) shall be based on a written agreement<\/strong> \u2013 like in football. <\/strong><\/li>\n
  9. FCH represents the interests of the clubs<\/strong> in international organisations and vis-a-vis EHF and IHF<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Today Women Forum Club Handball eV represents the (diverse) interests of almost 90 European top clubs, competing in the various European Cup competitions.<\/p>\n

    The relationship between EHF\/IHF on the one hand and Women FCH on the other hand is regulated by a \u2018Memorandum of Understanding\u2019 (EHF), respectively a \u2018Partnership Agreement\u2019 (IHF):<\/p>\n

    European women top clubs are represented via Forum Club Handball in various bodies of EHF\/EHFM.<\/p>\n

    EHF:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    FCH has two representatives in the EHF Women Handball Board<\/p>\n

    FCH has one representative in the EHF Competitions Commission<\/p>\n

    EHFM:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    FCH has a representative EHFM Advisory Board<\/p>\n

    FCH has 5 representatives in the EHFM Women Club Board<\/p>\n

    FCH has one comptroller for EHFM finances<\/p>\n

    IHF:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    FCH has no formal representation in any IHF body.<\/p>\n

    IHF formally acknowledged the existence of clubs in November 2017.<\/p>\n

    EHF and FCH are working together in strategic partnership in order to improve European Club Handball.<\/p>\n

    IHF and FCH are working together in order to improve the position of handball worldwide with special emphasis on USA and Players’ Agents. The cooperation is regulated in the FCH-IHF Partnership agreement.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
