Prof. Dr. Carmen Manchado L\u00f3pez was welcomed as a new member into the academic advisory board of the certificate course European Handball Manager<\/em> right on time for the start of the 2016 intake.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Carmen Manchado L\u00f3pez was very successful as a coach of the national women\u2019s handball teams of Spain and Germany. Nowadays she is Professor of General and Specific Didactics in Sport at the University of Alicante (Spain). Her academic focus is on endurance training analyses and handball-specific fitness training, with particular emphasis on women\u2019s handball. In addition she is a member of the Competition Commission of the European Handball Federation (EHF) in the field of women\u2019s handball. <\/span><\/p>\n

Carmen Manchado L\u00f3pez is now the fifth member of the academic advisory board who will advise and assist the academic and administrative management of the one-year certificate course European Handball Manager<\/em>. <\/span>The five members are representatives of the German Sport University of Cologne, the EHF and the Forum Club Handball. With the help of the academic advisory board, the European Handball Manager <\/em>course <\/em>can continue to be developed. <\/em>\u201cThat\u2019s how we can guarantee the high quality of our course in handball management\u201c <\/em>says Dr. Stefan Walzel, the academic manager of the certificate course.<\/span><\/p>\n

The fact that Carmen Manchado L\u00f3pez has joined the staff of the course is not only of importance for women\u2019s handball but it will strengthen the international focus of the European Handball Manager. The first intake of the certificate course Held in English is in July 2016. Applications are being accepted from now on. The deadline for applications is 30th April 2016.<\/p>\n

P\u00fcnktlich zum Anmeldestart f\u00fcr den Jahrgang 2016 wurde mit Prof. Dr. Carmen Manchado L\u00f3pez eine weitere Pers\u00f6nlichkeit des Handballsports als neues Mitglied im Wissenschaftlichen Beirat des Zertifikatsstudiums European Handball Manager begr\u00fcsst.<\/span><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

Als ehemalige Trainerin der spanischen und deutschen Frauenhandball-Nationalmannschaft konnte Carmen Manchado L\u00f3pez einige internationale Erfolge erzielen. Heute ist sie Professorin f\u00fcr allgemeine und spezifische Didaktik im Sport an der Universit\u00e4t Alicante (Spanien). Ihre wissenschaftlichen Schwerpunkte liegen neben Ausdauertrainingsanalysen und handballspezifischen Konditionstrainings vor allem im Bereich des Frauenhandballs. Dar\u00fcber hinaus ist sie Mitglied der Spielbetriebs-Kommission der European Handball Federation (EHF) im Bereich des Frauenhandballs.<\/span><\/p>\n

Carmen Manchado L\u00f3pez wird nun als f\u00fcnftes Mitglied des Wissenschaftlichen Beirats die wissenschaftliche und administrative Leitung des einj\u00e4hrigen Zertifikatsstudiums European Handball Manager<\/em> beraten und unter-st\u00fctzen. Die f\u00fcnf Mitglieder sind Vertreter der Deutschen Sporthochschule K\u00f6ln, der EHF und des Forum Club Handball. Mithilfe des Wissenschaftlichen Beirats kann eine stetige Weiterentwicklung des European Handball Managers, <\/em>der an der Deutschen Sporthochschule K\u00f6ln in Kooperation mit der Europ\u00e4ischen Handball F\u00f6rderation stattfindet, vorangetrieben werden. \u201eSo k\u00f6nnen wir eine qualitativ hochwertige Ausbildung im Handballmanagement gew\u00e4hrleisten\u201c, sagt Dr. Stefan Walzel, der wissenschaftliche Leiter des Zertifikatsstudiums.<\/span><\/p>\n

Mit der Aufnahme von Carmen Manchado L\u00f3pez soll neben dem Bereich des Frauenhandballs zudem die internationale Ausrichtung des European Handball Managers<\/em> gest\u00e4rkt und auch nach au\u00dfen hin sichtbar gemacht werden. Der erste Jahrgang des Zertifikatsstudiums in englischer Sprache startet im Juli 2016. Ab sofort, jedoch bis sp\u00e4testens 30. April 2016, k\u00f6nnen sich Interessierte bewerben.<\/span><\/p>\n
