{"id":662,"date":"2010-02-15T11:38:09","date_gmt":"2010-02-15T09:38:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.groupclubhandball.com\/?p=662"},"modified":"2010-02-18T11:46:21","modified_gmt":"2010-02-18T09:46:21","slug":"15-2-10-gch-and-ehf-finalize-draft-for-memorandum-of-understanding","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.forumclubhandball.com\/?p=662","title":{"rendered":"15.2.10: GCH and EHF finalize draft for &#8216;Memorandum of Understanding&#8217;"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>During their 6<sup>th<\/sup> meeting on 11.2.10 in Vienna GROUP CLUB HANDBALL EEIG and EHF finalized a draft for a \u201cMemorandum of Understanding (MoU)\u201d describing the future\u00a0cooperation of clubs and\u00a0the EHF respectively\u00a0the basis for a future &#8216;Professional Handball Board (PHB)&#8217;.<\/p>\n<p>The draft needs to be\u00a0approved by the EHF Executive Committee and confirmed by the next ordinary EHF Congress, taking place on 24\/25.9.10 in\u00a0Copenhagen and by the 3<sup>rd<\/sup> General Assembly of FORUM CLUB HANDBALL, taking place on occasion of the 1<sup>st<\/sup> Tournament of the EHF Champions League FINAL4 on 29.5.10 in Cologne.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Basis for the future FORUM CLUB HANDBALL which is foreseen to represent the clubs&#8217; part in the PHB is the participation of clubs in CL\/EC competitions.<\/p>\n<p>Under the condition that a club is qualified for the 2010\/11 European Cup season, the following teams will be automatically invited to FORUM CLUB HANDBALL:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Top 24 teams of the 2009\/10 EHF Champions League<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0Top 16 teams of the 2009\/10 EHF-Cup<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Top 16 teams of the 2009\/10 Cupwinners-Cup<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Top 8 teams of the 2009\/10 Challenge-Cup<\/p>\n<p>+ all national champions 2009\/10 from those countries which are not already represented in the\u00a0mentioned groups.<br \/>\nText: EHF\/GCH<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>During their 6th meeting on 11.2.10 in Vienna GROUP CLUB HANDBALL EEIG and EHF finalized a draft for a \u201cMemorandum of Understanding (MoU)\u201d describing the future\u00a0cooperation of clubs and\u00a0the EHF respectively\u00a0the basis for a future &#8216;Professional Handball Board (PHB)&#8217;.
