Twenty years after the inauguration of Group Club Handball/Forum Club Handball in 2006, Forum Club Handball will undergo a planned transition in its leadership. On 1 July 2026, Gregor Planteu will assume the position of Managing Director.

Gerd Butzeck, founder of the organisation and Managing Director since its establishment, will continue to support the transition and remain available as an advisor to the organization.

Gregor Planteu brings extensive commercial and leadership experience. He previously served as President of the renowned handball club RK Pivovarna Laško Celje as well as President of Forum Club Handball. He currently represents FCH on the EHF Professional Handball Board
