Dear handball friends,

Dear members of FCH, 

herewith we invite all FCH member clubs to the 33rd General Assembly of Forum Club Handball, taking place on the fringes of the Men EHF European Championship event in Billund, Denmark.

The General Assembly which deals with matters of interest for European Top Handball Clubs will be held in:

Hotel Svanen, Nordmarksvej 8, DK-7190 Billund

on Saturday 31st January 2026 from 9:30 till 14:00 hours.

We invite all active members of FCH which are:

the National champions 2025 of all EHF member federations and

the participating clubs of the EHF Champions League in season 24/25 or 25/26 and

the participating clubs of the EHF European League in season 24/25 or season 25/26 and

the participating top 16 clubs of the EHF European Cup in season 24/25 or still active in 25/26.

The arrival of the participants is scheduled Friday, 30th January 2026 in the morning. Friday afternoon all club representatives will attend the Semi-Finals event. We will organize bus transport from Billund to Herning.

The 33rd General Assembly will take place on Saturday, 31st January 2026 from 9:30 – 14:00 hours in the Hotel Svanen. Departure is scheduled after the General Assembly .

FCH will cover the costs for one hotel room (max two people, incl. breakfast) for one night (30.1/31.1.26).  If you want to arrive earlier or stay longer, please book your stay in the hotel directly.

FCH will cover the costs for one VIP ticket per club. The costs for a second VIP ticket will be 250 EUR, if tickets will be available. Please indicate your wish for a second ticket together with your registration. No club will receive more than one extra ticket. The tickets will be delivered to the participants Friday 30th January 2026 between 12-15h in the Hotel lobby. Extra tickets must be paid CASH.

Every club will have to cover its own travel expenses. FCH does not cover any transport cost (such as car, taxi, or flights).

Important notice: If you register for the meeting and you cannot attend the meeting, please inform as soon as possible but no later than until Thursday, 1st January 2026.

If you registered for the meeting and do not attend the meeting without having cancelled your participation on time, we will charge you 450 EUR (200 EUR Hotel + 250 EUR VIP ticket).

Dear handball friends,

Dear FCH member clubs,

in our 22nd  ordinary General Assembly which was held in Budapest on 1.6.25, the FCH member clubs elected from the nation ranked 2nd (HUN), Zsolt Abrok from Debrecen and Tamas Szabo from Györ.

On 31.7.2025 Tamas Szabo informed all of us that he resigned from his position in Györ and consequently also as a FCH Board member and FCH Competition Commission representative.

Therefore elections for the new Board member from the nation ranked 2nd (HUN) will be held 13th December 2025 in 23rd General Assembly in Rotterdam.

As the election supervisor I ask FCH member clubs from Hungary to nominate (nomination@forumclubhandball.com ) a candidate as FORUM CLUB HANDBALL (FCH) Board Member until Monday 1st December 2025 at the latest.

Candidates have to confirm their willingness to become elected. Every candidate has the right to present himself to the GA. The time for this presentation may be limited by the Election Supervisor.

Candidates do not have to be present to become elected.

The ‘Call for Nomination’ for the missing Board member opens today and closes on Saturday, 29st November 2025.

The nomination must be submitted during this period by e-mail to nomination@forumclubhandball.com, indicating name, age and position in the club. The nomination must contain the consent of the candidate. The candidate must be member of the board or CEO of his club and needs a sufficient knowledge of English language.

The candidates will be published on www.forumclubhandball.com on 1st December 2025.

The elections will be conducted according to the ‘Election Order’ during the 23nd  General Assembly (GA) in POSTILLION HOTEL & CONVENTION CENTRE WTC ROTTERDAM on 13th December 2025 from 9.30 till 13.30 hours.

The Election Supervisor will prepare a list of active members eligible to vote at the election.

Active members of FCH are:

•        the Champions League clubs season 25/26

•        the Champions League clubs season 24/25

•        the European League clubs season 25/26

•        the EHF Cup clubs season 24/25

•        the top 16 EHF Cup clubs season 25/26

•        the top 16 EHF Cup clubs season 24/25

•        All National Champions 2025

Passive members of FCH are the clubs which fulfilled the criteria listed above in the past and do not fulfill them at the date of the General Assembly.

The active members of FCH have different numbers of voting rights according to their sportive success as follows (taking in account the better result of current and previous season):

3 votes: Champions League clubs season 25/26 and/or 24/25

2 votes:  EHF European League Group phase clubs season 25/26 and/or 24/25

1 vote:   EHF European League Qualification phase season 25/26 and/or 24/25

1 vote:   Top 16 EHF Cup club season 24/25 and/or 25/26 or still active in 25/26.

1 vote:   All National Champions 2025

It is not possible to delegate the vote to a third person (or club).

Passive members have no voting rights.
